The Cultural Awareness Training provided through Palaweena is specific to the health industry, and clinicians seeking to work for Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services or Community Health Services. It is specific for non aboriginal clinicians' and employees, and covers; understanding cultural barriers, behaviours, and needs for Aboriginal patients, dispelling myths and common assumptions.
Yes, whilst typical engagement is for fulfilling backfill of CEO leave periods and vacancies, I can also be engaged for customised supports for the CEO, this could include financial mentoring, dealing with risk matters that are an associated conflict for the CEO, or matters that require an independent person to the Community or Organisation to enable local relationships to not be affected when dealing with the matter, as examples.

Yes, Palaweena can develop a Local Cultural Competence frame work and training package for your Organisation or Community, this would incorporate consultation with the Local Board Members, Elders and Leaders as identified by you. The Training Package would be completed for a platform of your choosing, local face to face delivery, Hybrid models incorporating online and face to face or completely online. Financial Modelling can be included to ensure that the Local community members providing the workshops are renumerated for their time. Your Organisation would have completed copywrite of the localised content of the training package.
